Results from a network analysis including clinical and non-clinical populations

Deze studie onderzocht welke negatieve jeugdervaringen (Adverse Childhood Experiences, ACE's) het sterkst samenhangen met een borderlinepersoonlijkheidsstoornis (BPS). De bevindingen suggereren dat emotionele mishandeling veel impact heeft op BPD. De auteurs pleiten ervoor om bij onderzoek en behandeling van BPS meer aandacht te besteden aan deze relationele en emotionele vormen van trauma.
